Fall Fashion Must-Haves

Fall fashion is by far one of my favorites. The weather is cool enough for boots, lightweight sweaters, and jackets, but isn't too cool to have to be completely bundled up. This year, the fashion runways introduced a handful of new trends to try, and I cannot wait to share! Take a look at whats hot this season:

Think camo jackets and tops paired with leather pants or jeans.
Mossimo Supply Co. Junior's Overcoat -Camo Print
Mossimo Camo Print Jacket $39.99
Think leather skirts, pants, tops, and jackets. Anything with leather this season is hot. hot. hot.
H&M Imitation Leather Pants $34.95

Cute and comfortable with leggings, jeans, or leather pants. Over-sized sweaters are adorable with riding boots, ankle boots, or heels.
H&M Purl-Knit Sweater $29.95

Think plaid, leopard print, black and white, and stripes. These classic, basic prints are adorable paired with this season's leather pants, skirts, and jackets.
Merona® Women's Plaid Pencil Skirt -Navy
Merona Plaid Pencil Skirt $26.99

Pin Money: For the Everyday Woman

Happy Thursday everyone! I just LOVE when Pin Money followers share pictures of themselves wearing Pin Money inspired looks! It is so exciting to see how each woman styles the look and how she makes it her own. Check out the gorgeous Stefanie. She paired her skinny jeans with a pair of riding boots, a white blouse, and a camel colored blazer. The looks is super simple yet chic and perfect for a weekend outing or grabbing dinner with friends. Awesome job Stef you look amazing!

Leather Detail

Happy Monday everyone!! If you haven't realized yet, leather everything is hot this season. Think leather dresses, tops, and skirts that are either all leather or have leather piping or detail. The touch of leather adds spice to a conservative look without looking over the top. I found this amazing black dress with faux leather detail at Target for only $29.99 HERE. I love this dress because it's trendy and chic, but still conservative enough for the office. I added this gold and black belt found similar HERE to give the dress some shape, and topped off the look with gold jewelry and simply black pumps. Easy, chic, and extremely fashion-forward for fall. I cannot wait to share more leather looks this season!

Boyfriend Jeans

There is something so sexy about boyfriend jeans on a woman. The loose fit mixed with heels and feminine accessories is an unexpected match made in heaven. I am obsessed with my Forever 21 boyfriend jeans found HERE. I pair these babies with just about everything, but today decided to go for a more preppy look. I paired my boyfriend jeans with this Banana Republic no wrinkle (the only way to go) blouse found HERE, Forever 21 blazer found similar HERE, Gold necklaces from The Limited found HERE, Target leopard belt found HERE and Forever 21 ankle boots found almost identical HERE

This look is perfect for grabbing lunch with friends, a casual Friday at the office (if you're allowed to wear jeans) or even a date night. This look is a definite fun and sexy go-to this fall!

Let the Light Shine Through

There is something so amazing about the beginning of September. The temperature is still warm, but the air is crisp, and the light shines in a tone that is so beautiful and warm. To celebrate this beautiful time of the year, and the beginning of September, I decided to wear my crisp orange dress. Sleeveless for the hot days, yet in a color that can still transcend into fall.
My dress was purchased a few years back at Charming Charlie's, but I found it very similar HERE, HERE, and HERE. To keep it comfortable, I paired my orange dress with my Forever 21 wedges found HERE. I pulled the whole look together with my cobalt blue Forever 21 flower earrings found in store for $4.80 or online HERE. This look, although simple and extremely comfortable, is perfect for any occasion this time of year.
On a personal note, I am learning a lot about the power of persistence (The Rachael Ray Show)and embracing the beauty that surrounds me everyday (both in nature and in family/friends). Now that I am a single woman I am learning an entire new way of life and understanding who I am and where I am going. I hope that you all can let a little light shed on your lives and let it show you how beautiful you truly are.
xoxo Pin Money

Happy Monday Pin Money Gals! I have exciting news and I want to share it with all of you! Tomorrow, September 10th, I will be on the Rachael Ray show!!! I am not standing with Rachael Ray but will be a side video of me showing looks for less and different tips when shopping for inexpensive clothing. I am over the moon excited and feel so blessed for this opportunity! Rachael Ray's producers are literally THE nicest people I have ever talked to in my life-just down to the core good people. This is just the beginning for Pin Money! I hope that you can all tune in!! EEE!!

Business In the Front. Party In the Back

There is nothing better than a dress that can transition from day to night. Changing can be such a pain! Check out this adorable coral Zara shift dress found almost identical HERE HERE HERE and HERE. I paired my shift dress with my navy and white striped Jcrew jacket found on sale HERE and finished off my look with my Forever 21 ankle strap heels in store for $28.80 or online found HERE and HERE

This transitional  look took me from a day at the office to a night out for cocktails and dinner with friends. Easy-breezy and Ahhhdorable!

Up Close and Personal.

Happy Tuesday Pin Money Girls. Since all of you have followed my blog, and have shared a piece of me, I felt as though I would be hiding who I was if I did not share my most recent life experience. Many of you have probably seen my posts about picking up my wedding gown, my engagement, or have at least seen me wearing a ring in my photos. Over the past 3 months, my life has taken a dramatic change. I was supposed to get married on August 24, 2013, but that wedding date was  postponed due to circumstances out of my control. Now the wedding is no longer postponed, and instead there will be no wedding at all. Ater 9 years of being with one man, I am entering the world with a clean slate. Just me. These past few months has been THE hardest thing I have ever gone through in my life. Starting over seems overwhelming and intimidating, but I know that God has a plan for me and that all of this has happened for a reason.

If any of you have been through something similar, please email me (lauren@mypinmoneyfashion.com) and share. Even words of encouragement help right now.

Lots of love,
Pin Money
