Spring's Must Have Cardigan

Long Cardigan / White Tee/ Jeans/ Lace-up Heels (last season) love THESE and THESE/ Gold Fringe Earrings older love THESE

Long Cardigans are huge for spring. They look adorable paired with jeans and lace up booties, or a pair of cut-offs and a tank. The look is care-free, yet stylish. This long cardi would also be cute over a basic dress and heels for the office. This is an inexpensive, transitional piece that you should definitely add to your wardrobe this spring!
On a side note I found the best foundation at Sephora over the weekend, and its all natural. I can't wait to do a review post on it soon.
Hope you are having a great week!

Fuchsia with Cobalt Accents

Fuschia Blouse/ Black Ankle Pants/ Cobalt Blue Heels/ Cobalt Blue Jacket (older) but can buy it HERE/ Bag/ Earrings (older) absolutely love THESE

The weather has been absolutely crazy here in Ohio... pretty chilly and rainy, which has been messing with all of my new spring outfits! I have found it key to layer, and layer in bright colors. (so i still can get my fill of spring)
I always think of blue has a staple. It looks so pretty paired with different colors and is a good diversion from basic black. I paired cobalt blue with fuschia, but cobalt also looks so pretty with mint, purple, yellow, or orange. Give the combo a try this week... and have fun mixing other bright colors.

Maxi Shirtdress

Black Maxi Shirt Dress New York and Company/ Gold Linked Necklace similar HERE/ Woven Heels similar HERE/

It's no secret that I absolutely love shirt dresses. They are that perfect mix of classic comfort. I found this black maxi shirt dress with gold buttons and fell in love. This dress looks so cute with heeled sandals, or flats. It's one of those dresses that you can play up with lots of gold jewelry or toss up with bright fringe earrings. This is a perfect transition into spring dress because of it's length (for the pale legs out there!) and for its amazing light-weight, soft material.
I have to say I don't normally shop at New York and Company, but lately have been finding the most adorable dresses for really great prices. If you need something for work or for an event, check out their options... they have some really good ones.

The Perfect Spring Look

Jean Jacket Old Navy/ Navy and White Striped Shirt JCrew/ Skirt (last season) similar HERE and HERE/ Ballet Flats (topshop sold out) identical HERE/ Red Flower Necklace (copy of JCrew's) similar HERE

I hope you all had an amazing weekend! Don't they just go too fast? I am always wishing that I  had "one more day..."
The weather was beautiful again over the weekend which called for bare legs, and flouncy skirts. During the spring, I  love the look of a fitted jean jacket, with a skirt, and flats. It's so effortless, and feminine. I wore this look to church in the morning, to a baby shower in the afternoon, and to a fundraiser event in the evening. It was perfect for each occasion, not too much so comfortable! If you don't have a pair of lace-up flats I would definitely consider purchasing a pair for spring. They are so cute for dressier occasions when you are not feeling heels, and they look adorable with skirts, dresses, and jeans.

Prep In Your Step

Button-up Ralph Lauren/ Coral Jeans (older) similar HERE/ Sunglasses Tory Burch/ Flats (older) similar HERE/ Belt The Limited

Bruce and I had the best Sunday celebrating my niece's 1st birthday. The day was gorgeous, and it was so nice to be surrounded by family. I absolutely love my Ralph Lauren oxford button-up for days just like Sunday. I can dress it up with a flowy skirt and belt, or can pair it with a fun pair of bright colored jeans for a preppy, laid back look. If you don't have an oxford shirt I would definitely invest in one. They are timeless and look so good with everything!
My last photo is with my niece Arianna. She is the true fashionista of the family! I mean can you get over her jumpsuit?! I just had to take a picture with her and post because I couldn't get over the cuteness! This little chica is definitely going to be one of the most well-known bloggers some day... I just know it. :)
Hope you are all having a great week! Almost the weekend!!
