Clothe Ohio

This post is extra special to my heart, since I am born, raised, and still living in Ohio, I am lucky enough to be surrounded with fellow Ohioans who are pretty amazing people. The Midwest has a reputation for being kind, generous, and down-to-earth people - And Ohio didn't earn the nickname "The heart of it all" for nothing. There are some here who really stand out for having a big heart, like the people behind the movement Clothe Ohio, Let me tell you how I found out just how amazing they really are.

Clothe Ohio is a movement that truly lives up to the sang "you get what you give." The creative minds at Clothe Ohio make really rad custom made Ohio apparel and that's not even the coolest part. For every order placed, Clothe Ohio teams up with non-profits and charitable organizations throughout the state, and gives a new t-shirt or sweatshirt to an Ohioan in need.
As their website says "With every purchase, you'll help Clothe Ohio (literally!)"

The fit and material of the t-shirts and sweatshirts are unbelievable; super soft, and fit like a glove. They are cute enough to wear casual with jeans for a sporting event, or  dressed up with a little jacket and heels for a night out.

Check out some of my looks below and be sure to "like" Clothe Ohio on Facebook or

I am wearing a size small in all of the t-shirts and sweatshirts. Keep in mind they are fitted.

Old Navy Quilted Vest

Quilted vest Old Navy/ Camel light weight sweater Target/ Bag Tory Burch/ Riding boots similar HERE and HERE/

I may or may not be obsessed with quilted vests in the fall. Wait, I admit it, I am obsessed with quilted vests in the fall. The look is always cute whether going to brunch, a tailgate, or out and about around town, and best of all  it's effortless. I love pairing my quilted vests with light wait sweaters, gingham buttons ups, and cute long sleeved tees. I have a variety of quilted vests from JCrew however I found this adorable option at Old Navy! They have this bright red color, olive green, black, and cream. They are light-weight enough to wear over sweaters without feeling bulky but shield enough to keep you warm. A must buy this fall.

Tailgate Time

Old Navy Cowl-Neck Sweatshirt/ JCrew Vest/ Hunter Rain Boots/ WhiteHouse Black Market Jeans

I just had to share my adorable niece on the blog today. She was wearing her pink Hunter boots the other day and it absolutely melted my heart! Hunters clearly work at any age, with a skirt and leggings, or jeans!

I absolutely love my Hunters for this fall and I am OBSESSED with my new Old Navy Cowl-Neck sweatshirt. The comfiness of a sweatshirt, but the style of a sweater; this is for sure my new go to for fall outings, tailgates, or lounging around the house. Comfortable, cute, and perfect for any outside event this season.

Denim on Denim

Jeans White House Black Market/ Lace up booties Lulus similar HERE/ Chambray button up similar American Eagle Factory / Necklace H&M

Fashion rules are sometimes made to be broken, which is why I love pairing denim on denim. Do not fear, this look doesn't have to look dated. The trick is to pair two different colors of denim like my dark wash jeans with a light wash denim shirt. The contrast gives the look balance and an understated chicness. I love pairing denim on denim with a statement necklace and fun heels. The idea of  mixing laid back with glam is fun and fashion forward. A must try this season!

Emerald and Leopard

OH how I have missed blogging! Summer has been a non-stop amazing time, but I am so ready and excited for fall! The beginning of September is that "in between" weather time. Warm, but not hot- cool but not cold.

Right now I am into outfits that don't look too summery, but also don't look too fallish, and today's post is the perfect in between. I paired my emerald green dress with a pair of leopard pumps and gold jewlery. The look is fun, crisp, and rich. Perfect for this time of year and a perfect transition into fall!

Little White Dress

Dress/ Old Navy other options HERE and HERE, Wedges old but super cute options HERE, and HERE, my bracelets i've had for years but I am obsessing over this and this

I am definitely not one of those girls who stops wearing white after Labor Day! In fact, I love my white jeans with my tan riding boots in the fall. However, there is nothing better than a little white dress in the summer. I love this dress with wedges for a date with my sweetie, and I love this dress with flats for running around town. A white dress is fresh, feminine, and is perfect for just about any occasion.

That's a wrap!

Today's post is extra special because I am featuring three beautiful (inside and out) Pin Money followers. Meet Jenny, Allison, and Francie. These beauties are modeling fun ways to wear scarves this summer. We had so much fun creating new, fresh looks, without spending a dime! Take a look at some of these fun, fashion-forward ideas, that any girl can do!

Jenny sassed up her blazer and skirt by tying her scarf in a half bow...
*make a basic bow, but pull the one end longer so that the loop is only on one side

Allison made her solid dress look fun and flirty by tying a scarf around her middle as a belt...
* use fun printed or bright colored scarves and tie them in bows or once around your mid section. This adds contrast and color to your solid color dresses.

Francie tossed up her everyday shorts and tank, by making her scarf into a necklace                                   *Continue to wrap your scarf around itself to create the look of a necklace.

Tie your scarf in a triangle and wrap it around your neck twice...

Drape your scarf over your shoulders...

Tie a scarf around the top half of your dress for a completely new look...

Or... just wear all of them! ;)

Try one, try them all. Try any of these looks for the office, for a date, or for a casual lunch with girlfriends. These ideas are a fun way to toss up any outfit you have and make it look brand new!
Thank you Jenny, Allison, and Francie for these fab looks!!
