Emerald and Leopard

OH how I have missed blogging! Summer has been a non-stop amazing time, but I am so ready and excited for fall! The beginning of September is that "in between" weather time. Warm, but not hot- cool but not cold.

Right now I am into outfits that don't look too summery, but also don't look too fallish, and today's post is the perfect in between. I paired my emerald green dress with a pair of leopard pumps and gold jewlery. The look is fun, crisp, and rich. Perfect for this time of year and a perfect transition into fall!

Little White Dress

Dress/ Old Navy other options HERE and HERE, Wedges old but super cute options HERE, and HERE, my bracelets i've had for years but I am obsessing over this and this

I am definitely not one of those girls who stops wearing white after Labor Day! In fact, I love my white jeans with my tan riding boots in the fall. However, there is nothing better than a little white dress in the summer. I love this dress with wedges for a date with my sweetie, and I love this dress with flats for running around town. A white dress is fresh, feminine, and is perfect for just about any occasion.

That's a wrap!

Today's post is extra special because I am featuring three beautiful (inside and out) Pin Money followers. Meet Jenny, Allison, and Francie. These beauties are modeling fun ways to wear scarves this summer. We had so much fun creating new, fresh looks, without spending a dime! Take a look at some of these fun, fashion-forward ideas, that any girl can do!

Jenny sassed up her blazer and skirt by tying her scarf in a half bow...
*make a basic bow, but pull the one end longer so that the loop is only on one side

Allison made her solid dress look fun and flirty by tying a scarf around her middle as a belt...
* use fun printed or bright colored scarves and tie them in bows or once around your mid section. This adds contrast and color to your solid color dresses.

Francie tossed up her everyday shorts and tank, by making her scarf into a necklace                                   *Continue to wrap your scarf around itself to create the look of a necklace.

Tie your scarf in a triangle and wrap it around your neck twice...

Drape your scarf over your shoulders...

Tie a scarf around the top half of your dress for a completely new look...

Or... just wear all of them! ;)

Try one, try them all. Try any of these looks for the office, for a date, or for a casual lunch with girlfriends. These ideas are a fun way to toss up any outfit you have and make it look brand new!
Thank you Jenny, Allison, and Francie for these fab looks!!

Red and Mint

Dress similar HERE or navy version here:H&M / Bracelet Francesca's Collections (in store) or online similar HERE/ Earrings Francesca's Collections (in store) or similar online HERE / Purse Tory Burch/ Shoes Forever 21(old) similar online HERE

The work weeks have been busy, but one thing that always makes my mornings more fun is coming up with different ideas to toss about my everyday skirts and dresses.

Today I paired my red H&M dress with my mint Francesca's Collections jewelry. I love the contrast of the bold red with the soft mint. Subtle, feminine, yet fashion forward enough to stand out, even at the office. Give this color combo a whirl sometime this week!

Striped Sundress

You're never too old to play in the puddles... and that's just what I did. Summer weather has been amazing, even with a few thundershowers here and there. The heat is cranked and light weight summer dresses are my go-to for work, the lake, dinner, well just about everything!

I found this navy and white striped dress at H&M. I cannot tell you how much I love this dress. Not only is it comfortable and roomy (doesn't cling to your body), but it has amazing feminine detail in the back. Best part, this dress comes in a variety of colors like hot pink, bright blue, and yellow. I'm excited to change out different belts and accessories to give this dress a completely different look I paired my hot pink flower earrings from Target in-store or similar HERE to add some color and my green Jcrew belt found similar HERE for that extra pop. And as if you weren't excited enough.. this dress was only $12.95 so buying more than one color is definitely an option!

Easy Breezy

Dress Forever 21 (my blue and white version found in store),  Necklace CWonder not online right now but tons of options HERE, Initial bracelet CWonder, Chain link bracelet Target, Cross ring H&M

Theres nothing better than a cool maxi dress on a warm summer day. Although it is technically not summer yet... the weather has been beautiful here in Ohio. (and thank goodness for that after the winter we had!)

That being said, I am taking full advantage of this beautiful weather and wearing all of the summery dresses I can! I found this feminine floral print maxi at Forever 21. I love the feminine ruffle detail at the top and crisscross detail in the back. Simple and comfortable, yet perfect enough for a family brunch or evening dinner.

Retro Cool

In the mood for a chic new standout accessory? Round shape sunnies are hotter than ever. These chic round specs also called Panama sunglasses are retro and fashion forward in one. These hot shades come in a variety of cool colors and my favorite, two-toned like tortoise and black or black and gold. Best part? Round shape looks great on most face shapes so everyone can tap in on this trend. Round sunnies...a fashion must this season!

I was inspired by Tory Burch's fab panama sunnies. (The gold and black pair are on my wishlist) To satisfy my panama craving, I found this great pair at Target for only $12.99 in store and similar online here. I also found some FABULOUS inexpensive options here, here, and here
